Camp Shalom

Established in 1968 with the goal of bringing together Jewish kids in central Kentucky for two weeks of fun through an enriching experience.

Day Camp Session 1: July 22-26

Day Camp Session 2:  July 29-Aug. 2
Overnight (
2nd-6th grade): Aug. 5-9

Day Camp Hours:

9:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. Monday thru Friday

Extended day until 5:30 p.m. M-F (Subject to change based on enrollment)


Day Camp Units be Entering Grade Level:

Ofarmim (The Deer) – Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st Grade

Soussim (The Horse) – Some Kindergarten and 1st Grade (When Ofarim is too large)

Tsofim (The Scouts) – 2nd and 3rd Grade

Chalutzim (The Pioneers) – 4th and 5th Grade

Counselor-In-Training is an option for entering 9th Graders

Early Registration - By April 1*

All Units $259.00 per week
Extended day M-F (3:45-5:30) $50.00 per week



Regular Registration - After April 1*

All Units $279.00 per week
Extended day M-F (3:45-5:30) $50.00 per week



Overnight Camp*                        

For entering 2nd - 6th graders $400.00             

*Additional discounts available for UK employees and siblings for all sessions.
