His rabbinic history follows (from CV): he led a congregation of 750 families for over 30 years, supervised a staff of 11 people, helped to establish a pre-school, developed a fundraising campaign to remodel the building, developed a Torah restoration project (fundraiser and educational project), prepared the Temple Emanu El membership to relocate building, led the revision of endowments and memorial committee, and established a planned giving program, inspired 9 students to enter rabbinical school, led a project at Temple Beth Israel to give away two Torahs to foreign congregations, initiated a project to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at an Oneg Shabbat to give to a homeless shelter, prepared the congregation to merge with another reform congregation in the area, and created numerous community organizations, e.g. Midrasha, Sharing-How to Stay Married, Community High School Program.

He is currently Rabbi Emeritus at Temple Emanu El, part-time Rabbi, Temple Beth Israel in Sharon, Pa. serving as Rabbi at Templel Emanu El, University Hts., Ohio 1972-2002. 1969-1971 served as Chaplain in US Navy.

He arrived in Lexington 7/1, and began work immediately, as a full-time rabbi. He will be assisting us with surveying our congregation and as we develop a plan for the search for our rabbi.

He attended our board meeting on 7/3, and conduct services on 7/4.  The congregation gathered to meet him prior to services on July 4th, had a holiday meal, followed by services and a special oneg.
