UK-JHF Holocaust Education Initiative Community Dinner

The University of Kentucky-Jewish Heritage Fund Holocaust Education Initiative invites you to join us in honoring the dedication and hard work of Kentucky teachers involved in the UK-JHF Holocaust Education Initiative. All are welcome to learn more about their efforts and welcome Shabbat with a traditional kosher-style, dairy/fish meal catered by LexNosh. The event begins with cocktails and a meet & greet at 4:00pm, where you can hear the teachers' stories and share some of your own, followed by dinner at 5:30pm. Rabbis Abramowitz and Wirtschafter invite you to a community Shabbat service at 7 pm. Dr. Karen Petrone will give the drash, with music provided by Lauren Hill and Jerry Suhl. Tickets for cocktails and dinner are $36 per person. RSVP required by Tuesday, July 30.
