Hanukkah 2023 – Shine A Light on Antisemitism
Happy Hanukkah!
Join us as we #ShineALight to dispel the darkness of Antisemitism!
This Hanukkah, we have opportunities to celebrate together AND to make a huge difference in our community.
We invite you to join us as we #ShineALight on rising antisemitism in our community and around the world. Learn more about antisemitism from the assortment of resources compiled by Shine A Light – click here.
It takes all of us to dispel the darkness antisemitism brings into our world. Education is key, and sharing that education with others makes our world a much brighter place.
May the Hanukkah lights shine bright this year and always. Happy Hanukkah!

Jewish Federation of the Bluegrass joins Jewish communities around the world to #ShineALight on rising antisemitism.
This year, you have the unique opportunity to participate alongside our efforts through our Yard Sign Campaign.
JFB is distributing yard signs that look like the graphic you see on this page. The goal is to have these signs displayed throughout the month of December in and around Lexington. Anyone can request a sign for pickup at the JFB offices. We encourage everyone to consider carefully if they want to display a sign at their home or business. Your safety is our top priority!
Yard signs are available for reservation. Pick-up only at JFB offices. Contact daniel@jewishlexington.org for more information.
Lexington’s First Ever Hanukkah Market!
Join JFB and the Lexington Jewish Community for our first ever Hanukkah Market on December 3, 2-5pm, at Rock House Brewing! We’ll have over 15 vendors selling an array of items for your holiday gift-giving needs. Many of the vendors are Jewish community members excited to share their art, crafts, and homemade items with you!
Enjoy a specially crafted beer at Rock House Brewing created just for us. Be sure to come hungry because Yalla Y’all Falafel and TAI on Rye Popup Deli will be selling delicious bites to satisfy your holiday cravings. Plus, JFB will be selling special treats too!
There’s something for everyone at Lexington’s Hanukkah Market!
